Grand Affairs Group recognises the work of the following organisations
As part of any business Employers are required to train their staff in the use of the equipment they use in the course of their duties. This can be quite a complex operation as there are numerous pieces of legislation that apply.
For Controllers, Operators and Attendants of inflatable play equipment (bouncy castles and the like) we have training courses just for you.
For Local Authorities, Organisations and others who regularly hire in equipment we have a course designed to point out the pitfalls and ensure that a clear understanding of what to look for when hiring inflatable play equipment from an outside supplier.
All our inflatable play equipment training courses take the relevant parts of BS EN 14960, Health and Safety At Work etc Act 1974 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and is presented in an easy learning method
Our courses are run by Peter Grand who has over 25 years experience in the inflatable play and entertainment industry, is a registered RPII inspector and tutor, sits on the PIPA Advisory Panel, has presented courses for ADIPS and works with the Health and Safety Executive as an advisor on inflatable play equipment.
All of our training courses are a full day and we have training centres in Bristol, Coventry, Cwmbran, Leighton Buzzard, London and Nottingham. We are able to offer in house training if required or to set up courses in a specific area if demand dictates.
We allow ample time within the training courses for candidates to ask questions and the course concludes with a written examination.
We have developed our own training aids which provide a practical element within our course. This includes our own purpose built bouncy castle that has common faults built in to it and is the only one of its kind in the UK.
